Pet peeve #47: "Can I get a hamburger?" "what kind of cheese do you want with that?"
It's not worth crying over spiled milk, but evidently coffee is a different story.

halfwritten melodies.
I wait for them to write themselves
but they have no hands
Tattoo half covered
by the girl hanging on him
with her tongue down his throat.
Does she realize it's rush hour?
She walks in to my car
but doesn't look up.
Good thing, too.
I haven't spoken to her since she dumped me.
Writing poetry on my smartphone
waiting for a seat to open up.
I have a heavy bag today!
She works at trader joes and uses a mac.
I already know I cannot love her
he puts his affairs in oder
as we pull into 59th st
he studies his flashcards
and doesn't realize he missed his stop

I think my life would be infinitely better if I had a bag of M&Ms for desert at every meal.

Note to self: mixing Gil Evans with Mulgrew Miller is awesome. Note to others: look 'em up and then email me for a sample track.
Watching the coastline and the traffic pass by in the night with the thoughts of New York ahead of me. I love the train.

Wisdom of the moment, a bad parallel to the stock market: "you shouldn't play poker if you don't know how many cards are in a deck."
This blog will be entirely done by text message. I guess the plan is to write what I see, 160 characters at a time.
